Position: Deputy Manager – Quality Control & Formulation Management
Location: Andheri Mumbai
Reporting to: General Manager - Quality Control
Reportees: 10 Reportees
Criteria:
Experience & Expertise (mandatory & desired)
Education and Experience –
BSc / MSc / B.Tech / Graduate in Science , Master’s Degree will be added advantage.
5-7 years in Global Supply Chain (for graduates) OR 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain (for post graduates) with relevant knowledge of quality.
- Exposure to supply chain systems can be an advantage
- Significant understanding/awareness of supply chain management function
- Must be able to work well under pressure and manage conflict effectively
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Computer literacy and numeric skills
- Excellent interpersonal, team working and influencing skills
- Strong communication skills.
Purpose of the Role :
This role reports to the General Manager Quality Control and works closely with Quality Management team and is responsible for -
- Formulation Control Management
- Conducts supplier audits in line with Quality Roadmap
- To be the custodian of Quality MIS.
Incumbent requires a sound knowledge of organisation and also will interact with global teams for formulation related work.
Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from role :
- Manage formulation management for India business including the engineering change orders
- Ensure that appropriate approvals for formulation is taken at all gates in fusion
- Closely liaise with GLT to ensure Formulation Release Documents are accurate and is received on time.
- Capture the feedback from customer visits and make action plan to improve gaps.
- Conduct warehouse Q standard audits as per agreed plan and track the action closure.
- Conduct packaging supplier audits and agree on action plan.
- Conduct visits to Base oil loading locations and audit them at as per agreed action plan.
- Champion quality aspect of imported FG process.
- Maintain quality field inspection dashboard and monitor action closure.
- Represent quality in new warehouse induction process.
- Collate and publish the monthly KPI
- Maintain the share folder of Quality Management system.
