Client: MNC, Industrial Product Manufacturer
Position title: Sales & Application Engineer
Product line: Surface treatment – chemicals
Role type: Individual Contributor
Reporting to: RSM
Base Location: Chennai /Bangalore
Territory: Chennai (parts of), Bangalore, Hosur
Business proportions: 60% direst sales, 40% indirect sales (via distribution)
- B.E. & B. Tech Chemical/Mechanical/Production engineering, MBA (preferable)
- Have minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience of both B2B & B2B through distributor business model is required
- Excellent Communication skills & Fluent in Tamil language
- Proficient presentation skills
- Grasp on technical knowledge and project-handling skills are essential
- Responsible and accountable for Key Accounts handling.
- Generate new business by identifying new opportunities/customers, increase customer base and conduct training and seminars for end-users / customers.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Manage Distributors so as to achieve business plan by conducting monthly meetings, securing desired level of support and adequate number of sales reps etc.
- Ensure fast and accurate sales reporting and forecasting to supervisor.
- Provide first hand trouble shooting support to customers.
- Procure distributor’s appointment, as and when required
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
