Position: Shift Engineer - Blow Molding

Location: Adas, Gujarat

Reporting To: Assistant Manager-Production

Criteria: Diploma(Plastics Engineering) from CIPET or equivalent with min 3+ years experience in running high speed Blow molding Machine like Meper, CMP.

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good Knowledge in Excel

  • Good Skill in communication

  • Expertise in troubleshooting of multi parison extrusion blow molding.

Interactions(Internal & External):

  • Expected to interact with Quality, HR and Planning.

  • No interaction with external parties.

Job Purpose: 

To supervise all production activities for the assigned shift.  Work on the shop floor and take care of technical aspects of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall ownership for blow molding area , ensuring smooth machine operation , proper parameter to produce quality handles for NDB lines

  • To take care of trouble shooting of Extrusion blow molding Machines and related process

  • Ensures that production is taken at specified production rate as well as products meet the specification criteria .

  • To ensure work allocation in shifts and ensure that shift personnel are fully complying with the duties. Critical review and necessary action in shift operations

  • Escalates any issue related to Machine, Quality , Production and Manpower to the Senior.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis. 

  • Ensure quality of production as per the standards / specification. Maintain the expectations of the corporate 16 Quality areas requirement

  • Responsible for implementation of lean tools in the area. Ensure that the Preventive maintenance is completed as per schedule.

  • Conform to the Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Policy, manual, standard operating procedures, work instructions and continued improvement.

  • Notifying the HSE’s  team and or SEO of opportunities for improvement on areas of risk.
