Position: Assistant Manager-Process Engineering
Location: Kurkumbh
Reporting To: Site/Plant Manager
Indirect Reporting To: Regional Process Engineering Manager
Criteria: BE/ ME(Chemical) with 3+ years of experience in process engineering

Desired skills:
● Need a solid foundation in engineering principles, specifically in areas related to Mixing, fluid dynamics, Heat transfer, hydraulic calculation, solid handling, distillation, process safety and industrial design.
● Able to prepare and verify basic engineering packages for plant modifications.
Job Purpose Prepare and maintain process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, balances). Improve processes for efficiency and waste reduction. Provide technical support for quality, cost, and safety issues. Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, JSA, FMEA, PSSR). Analyze process data, implement controls, manage projects, collaborate with teams, and support audits with proper documentation.
Key Deliverables:
1. Process Documentation: Create, revise, and maintain detailed process documentation wise material and energy balance, Process flow diagrams, Process and instrumentation diagrams, cause and effect sheets, process equipment layout, equipment and chemical list.
2. Process Design and Optimization: Study and Improve present manufacturing processes to enhance process and energy efficiency and reduce waste.
3. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues that impact quality, cost, safety and throughput.
4. Risk Assessment and process safety:
● Contribute risk assessments studies by active participation, tracking implementation plans for the department.
● In hand experience of various process safety aspects, HAZARD and Operability study methodologies.
● Should execute JSA, FMEA, PSSR for plant projects and modifications.
5. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions. This involves time cycles, batch sizes, energy and improvement data.
6. Implement Process Controls: Utilize control systems to monitor and adjust processes in real time, ensuring optimal operating conditions.
7. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for plant modification projects.
8. Collaboration: Effective collaboration with various departments such as Process development, Quality Control, Maintenance, projects, regional and global process engineering network to achieve project objectives.
9. Audits and reviews:
● Actively participate in customer and IMS/ IATF audits.
● Prepare and maintain audit documents in collaboration with relative stack holders.
