Location: Navi Mumbai
Reporting to: Country Manager
Criteria: B.SC (Chemistry) with 7+years of experience in Sales of Chemicals

Job Purpose: Responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities and executing company sales programs to achieve or exceed targets, while driving profit growth without compromising customer satisfaction. Handling sales of raw materials catering to the paints, inks, coatings, and construction chemicals industry. Coordinating direct sales, overseeing inventory control, preparing sales reports, analyzing performance, and conducting regular meetings with regional sales managers or the group managing director, both in person and via video conferences.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Growth
- To lead & develop new products into existing and new customers
- To lead & develop new customers with existing products and new products
- To lead & focus and drive agencies product
Customer Retention
- To lead & maintain existing customer accounts if any, ensure and develop existing customers with existing products and new products to maintain our market share.
Sales Forecast & Planning
- To accurately get data and feedback from customers on their consumption level on a routine basis
- To analyze and plan the data collected, and plan accurately the stock requirement to ensure zero stock out cases
Inventory Management
- To ensure our inventory move fast, by requesting accurate forecast from customers and increase in new customer portfolio
Customer Service
- To build good rapport with existing or new customers by regular visits and communication
- To build and maintain good rapport with existing or new suppliers
- To build good rapport with internal customers (i.e. Supply chain, Purchasing, Accounts, Regulatory, QC, IT, etc)
Sales Lead Conversion
- To engage in daily activities that creates sales lead with customers and insert into CRM
- To convert sales lead into actual sales
Analytics, Insights & Data Management
- Ensure all vendors contract documentation is properly scanned and updated and timely renewal
- Track, monitor and analyze group administrative data
- Keep abreast of local and global trends and developments to provide further benchmarking insights on data analysis outcomes
- Develop insightful presentation derived from data analytics and HR metrics benchmarking using dashboards or data visualization tools
- Ensure the highest confidentiality of all information / data and to undertake not to divulge such information in any form whatsoever in your personal capacity having access to them for personal gains or otherwise
Health & Safety
- Ensure that safe working practices are used and appropriate Health and Safety legislation adopted
- Exercise responsibility for carrying out and adhering to the Health and Safety Policy and Procedure
Others
- To train new sales employees as and when required
- To lead sales partner to achieve team goals
- To make sense of data and draft strategies for implementation
- Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superior or Management
