Position: Deputy Manager- R&D
Location: Pune
Reporting to: Head - R & D
Criteria: M.Sc(Organic Chemistry) with 12+ years of experience or B.Tech/ B.E(Polymer) with 7+ years of experience in the adhesive or Sealants Industry.

Job Purpose
Responsible to develop the Sealant and Adhesive coating as per customer requirement.
Customer relationship management at Engineering department at customer end
Communicating internally within group, with competency centers (Europe/Asia) for development and product quality related issues
Evaluate the alternate raw material and required to reformulate the chemical formulation
Root cause analysis and trouble shooting at customer line
Communicate to various functions within company and with customers
To reduce the product cost through innovation new technology
Support team for process control& improvements.
Job Responsibility
New Product Development
Product Reformulation (Plastisol, Elastomer, Mastic, Waxes)
Alternate Raw Material Development & Validation
New Product Launch with OEMs
To handle product related customer complaints
Product Costing (RM level)
Reformulation of Existing Products (Plastisol, Mastic, Waxes) & lab testing /documentation
Lab Instrument, R&D lab documentation
Lab Safety & Lab kaizen
