Position: Planning Manager - SCM
Location: Gujarat
Reporting To: Plant Director/ Regional Director-SCM APAC
Reportees- 4
Criteria: Any Graduate with 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
MBA/PG Diploma(SCM/Operation) & Experience in Plastics, FMCG, Consumer Products, Injection Moulding, or Packaging industries preferred.

Job Purpose:
To ensure uninterrupted material flow, optimised inventory and efficient planning procurement, warehousing, and logistics operations that enable the plant to achieve its production, cost, and customer service objectives. Ensures up-to-date usage of SAP PATH in the plant. Responsible for meeting the pre-established business KPI targets like Customer Service Level, Inventory Coverage, reducing SLOB and Freight cost.

- Sales Coordinators (Consumer, Export, CSD)
- Warehouse and Planning team
- CPIM and Business Experts SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Supply chain planning. Develop Monthly, Weekly and daily planning to align demand forecast with manufacturing capacities of the site, Suppliers & Job Workers.
- Manage procurement of Plastics resins, Packaging materials, bought out components, consumables and indirect materials. Develop strategic supplier relationships
- Optimise Inventory levels ensuring inventory levels while ensuring high service levels. Monitor inventory projections and implement actions to achieve targeted stock levels and working capital goals.
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials with FIFO/FEFO compliance, optimal space utilization, full material traceability, with high accuracy.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
Additional Responsibilities: - Be SAP Key user for MRP, Production planning and related activities . Ensure accurate master data, inventory transactions, and planning parameters in SAP systems.
- Provide analysis on customer service level, coverage of inventories and other SCM –specific topics
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to achieve plant productivity and service targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning, warehousing, and logistics to reduce cost and improve plant performance.
- Ensure adherence to the Company's Guiding Principles, HSE standards, and all applicable corporate policies and procedures.
