About Client: - MNC Manufacturing into Specialty Chemicals
Position: Deputy Manager- R&D
Location: Pune
Reporting to: Head - R & D
Criteria:
- M.Sc(Organic Chemistry) with 12+ years of experience or B.Tech/ B.E(Polymer) with 7+ years of experience in the adhesive or Sealants Industry.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
Job Purpose
- Responsible to develop the Sealant and Adhesive coating as per customer requirement.
- Customer relationship management at Engineering department at customer end
- Communicating internally within group, with competency centres (Europe/Asia) for development and product quality related issues
- Evaluate the alternate raw material and required to reformulate the chemical formulation
- Root cause analysis and trouble shooting at customer line
- Communicate to various functions within company and with customers
- To reduce the product cost through innovation new technology
- Support team for process control& improvements.
Job Responsibility
- New Product Development
- Product Reformulation (Plastisol, Elastomer, Mastic, Waxes)
- Alternate Raw Material Development & Validation
- New Product Launch with OEMs
- To handle product related customer complaints
- Product Costing (RM level)
- Reformulation of Existing Products (Plastisol, Mastic, Waxes) & lab testing /documentation
- Lab Instrument, R&D lab documentation
- Lab Safety & Lab kaizen
