Pl Note: This position is on 3rd Party Payroll on yearly renewable basis.
Position: Officer, Technology & Scale up.
Location: Navi Mumbai(Turbhe)
Department: Laboratory Sciences - Pharmaceutical Sciences
Criteria:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. in Chemistry with hands on knowledge and experience of Instrumentation & Control including DCS based systems. Relevant experience of operating Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) plants under GMP for more than 3 yrs would be preferred.
- Candidates having B.E. (Chemical), M.Sc. (Chemistry) and NCTVT certificate with good computer literacy, Oral / Written English skills, Attitude and relevant experience in plant operations will also be considered.
Profile Summary:
This position is expected to perform day to day operational activities of API Scale Up Facility (ASUF), Kilo / process engineering lab with following considerations:
1. Batch Preparation, Execution, Documentation, Maintenance Co-ordination, etc., as per standard operating procedures, instructions, Guidelines and other assigned tasks.
2. Compliance of Quality (cGMP) and Safety system norms
3. Conducting experiments as per planning and guidance
4. House keeping
Job Responsibility:
1.Understanding Process, Safety, Quality and Operations Requirements from execution perspective
2. Batch Preparedness, Execution, Batch record filling, Data Logging, Inter and Intra functional co-ordination on need basis,
3. Raw Material handling (include solid and solvent receipt, storage, dispensing),
4. Operations as per procedures, instructions, guidelines and norms (Reactors, Filters, Dryers, Hammer Mills, Scrubbers, Local Panels, Powder processing / Packaging, DCS panel operation, Nitrogen generation and distribution, Hot and cold glycol system, DI water system, etc.)
5. Sampling of in-process, Intermediate, Finished Product as & when required and coordination with Quality control lab / Engineering, Maintenance & Utility (EMU) Dept
6. Assist & help in the Scale up & Process Engg related activities of the ASUF projects.
7. Lab experiments in kilo / process engg lab.
8. Supervision of equipment cleaning & plant housekeeping
