Position: Manager - New Business Development & Technical Support
Location : - Pune
Reporting To : - Sr. Manager
Criteria: - Master’s in Animal Nutrition, MV.Sc. MBA/PGDMM (preferred) with Minimum 7+years’ relevant experience in New Business Development and Technical Support in feed supplement & Animal Nutrition industry
Technical & Professional Knowledge
Hardcore Techno commercial with business orientation with excellent competencies of leadership, communication skills, entrepreneurial drive, developing self & others
Job purpose:-
• To lead, design, budget, manage &execute all technical trials with institutes, partners and other customers to generate local data, validate/strengthen global claims and create competitive technical positioning
• To support new business development aligned with GBU strategy and providing hands-on support to internal & external stakeholders to achieve new business objectives
• In coordination with regional & global technical team, support on technical and scientific knowledge in animal nutrition to distributors and customers in South Asia in order to maintain competitiveness and further build a future sales team, key customers & distributors to enhance business efficiency
Job Description:
• To evaluate the market opportunity, conduct market surveys, estimate the market potential to generate strategic activities for new business development
• To propose and coordinate Application projects for products to develop data for customer solutions – internally or from external institutes
- Select capable and valued partners in the form of renowned Scientists, Institutes or private research organizations, suitable to conduct required research trials in South Asia
- Plan, budget, coordinate, and execute trials for research or higher technical positioning.
- Generate data, assimilate for larger coordination within a regional and global team and finalize the report for global use
• Assimilate external and internal technical publications for periodic publications in journals, scientific forums, and planned circulation amongst selected key customers, consultants, and institutes.
• To provide hands-on support to the sales team and customer support officers.
• To conduct technical marketing activities including organizing road-shows and seminars, participating in specific conferences with customers, and all related events that help to promote and support the business.
• To support on the technical and scientific aspects of animal nutrition to distributors and customers in South Asia in order to maintain competitiveness and further build future sales.
• To provide the technical consultant and troubleshooting solution, including handle/ follow-up complaints on technical related issues. Communicate the complicated technical issues of customer incoming incidents with the regional and global technical team to resolve and find the most appropriate solutions.
• To establish tools and materials to facilitate effective sales and marketing efforts: local solutions towards solution set up .
• To contribute to the analysis, qualitatively or quantitatively, about customer information, market trend and competitor data to inform and improve the effectiveness of the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing strategy and sales achievements.
