Position :- Deputy Manager-Technical Services - EBC
Location :- Navi Mumbai
Criteria :- B.E /Diploma(Civil) with minimum 4+ years of Experience in Construction Chemicals / Construction industry
Job Description:
• Act as an active member in support sales and marketing team to provide technical support / with marketing tools/documentation
• Provide technical inputs/ recommendation to strategy development and implementation based on analysis of product performance in comparison to competitive products and reports that define and rank performance requirements for technical success
• Provide technical support to customers as troubleshooters and technical consultant, including handling/ follow-up complaints on technical related issues.
• Provide inputs and recommendations for developing/evaluating product applications, defining marketability, modifications and termination of ineffective products
• Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices and share with the sales/marketing personnel
• Develop processes and procedures in technical aspects to ensure the successful introduction of the defined products.
• Training and Development of Sales / Marketing & Application Team on product systems
• Training and Development of Applicators and Distributors on product systems and its application.
• Participate as part of a product launch team to ensure smooth introduction of the product in customer serving processes
• Share with the sales and marketing team via reporting/ workshops the experience gained in technical service laboratories/ manufacturing processes in proper application/ formulation techniques
• Support presentation/ seminars and workshops to launch product
• Ensure compliance with values & principles, code of conduct and EHS guidelines of company in all business activities. Exhibit safe behaviour while at project sites.
• Help Achieve sales and market profitability by Driving, monitoring, guiding and supporting including overall Product management of:
(i) sale activities (including BRM)-
(ii)distribution channel activities &Training,
(iii)Control QA & QC for effective application of systems to reduce failures of product system and application,
(iv) key accounts and projects application monitoring
• Make Presentation during seminars for influencers/applicator/distributor meets on system application Project Management and quality assurance and implementation.
• Implement Global and Regional strategies at a local level. Monitor, develop and implement strategies for long term competitiveness of the company in South Asia/India including successful implementation of RBU strategic plan. Cooperate with sub-regional, regional and global colleagues to increase business
• Take responsibility for the overall Technical Services & support for Product Segment Management and coordination of interfaces to other departments/functions. Foster continuous innovation in products and processes.
• Stay abreast of market trends as well as changes in the market and competitive landscape and initiate necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with values & principles, code of conduct and EHS guidelines of the company in all business activities
• Enable cross-business collaboration and synergies to maximize company value including leading a key account as part of MDP at country level.
