Position: Area Sales Managers

 Location: Navi Mumbai

 Reporting: Director Marketing and Technical

 Criteria: Any Graduate / Engineering / MBA Marketing & Sales with 6+ year in Sales & Distribution of industrial equipment, cutting welding equipment & Consumables, Industrial gases

Job Profile

  • Will be responsible towards business development, generating sales and margins for the company, monitoring, controlling and implementing the Sales Plan and overall business development in the assigned territory.
  • Would be handling sales of Industrial Equipment / Machinery, Cutting –Welding equipment & Consumables, Industrial Gases widely across various industries in India.

 Job Responsibility:

  • The Area Sales Manager is essentially responsible for business development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan defined by the business unit with a view to attaining a defined sales target with accurate forecast.
  • To establish, maintain and grow the business through Channel partners i.e. to prospect and appoint new distributors, dealers and direct key accounts in the territory assigned and extend all support for techno commercial meetings and prompt communication.
  • Business development in focused key customer by expanding product portfolio through value addition services such as Annual rate contract (ARC)
  • Monitor competitor details, pricing trend, identifying Products and services which can be replaced by our portfolio.
  • To achieve the assigned yearly Sales targets (e.g Order intake & Sales revenue) with a say to Do ratio of 95% month on month.
  • Maintain and track the Sales funnel.
  • Maintain monitor day to day field movement, No of visits, outcome of sales visit and forecasted sales revenue target achievement month on month basis and report accordingly.
  • Achieve timely collection as per the collectable outstanding for the month and achieve the forecasted monthly collection target month on month.
  • Forecast and track Sales metrics such as Product and brand wise business growth, Business growth by regular cross selling of products and repeat business. To maintain MIS report of same
