Position : DevOps Engineer
Location : India/Vietnam
Qualifications and Skillsets
- 3+ years’ experience in managing AWS-based multi-country ecommerce web applications
- Experience on managing Magento 2 based infrastructure is a strong plus
- 3+ years’ experience in scaling and monitoring tools and technologies such as EC2, ALB, ASG, HaProxy, Varnish, CDN, Nagios, Redis, EKS and so on.
- 3+ years’ experience in optimizing MySQL configuration and query performance
- Must have experience with Git for pushing/pulling code
- Must have experience in a Scrum based Agile development processes
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills, must be able to read, write and speak English
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strategic thinking and Problem-solving aptitude
- Exposure to messaging brokers (RabbitMQ or Kafka), Dockers and Kubernetes is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of running the platform on AWS to ensure high availability, reliability and security of the platform for internal and external end-users
- Engage in routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to keep the IT infrastructure ready for builds across different programming languages (primarily PHP7)
- Design tools and processes for managing infrastructure, automating testing and deployment processes
- Manage version control via Git
- Create deployment and infrastructure management documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout development
- Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following enterprise engineering standards
- Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with little or no supervision
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
