Position : Magento 2 Lead
Location : India/Vietnam
Qualifications and Skillsets
- 6+ years of ecommerce web application development with 4+ years in Magento 2.x
- Demonstrable Magento 2 skills in writing custom modules from scratch
- Demonstrable Magento 2 skills in custom theme integration
- Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, REST APIs
- Must have experience with Git for pushing/pulling code
- Must have experience in a Scrum based Agile development processes
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills. Candidates must speak, read and write English well
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strategic thinking and Problem-solving aptitude
- Magento 2 Backend Developer Certification is a plus
- Exposure to managing Cloud infrastructure using Dockers and Kubernetes is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Design and architect custom modules on Magento2 Marketplace
- Perform Magento 2 customizations and custom module development as per requirements
- Develop applications in languages including PHP7 and Magento 2
- Implement Magento 2 custom theme integration
- Manage and lead a team of developers
- Create development documentation and ensure documentation remains current throughout development
- Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following enterprise engineering standards
- Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with little or no supervision
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Accurately estimate development effort to deliver high quality projects on time and on budget
