Position : Android/iOS Native App Developer
Location : India/Vietnam
Qualifications and Skillsets
- 3+ years’ experience on ecommerce native mobile apps development on the Android and/or iOS platforms
- 2+ years’ experience on Kotlin (for Android) and/or Swift (for iOS)
- Strong familiarity with Android and/or iOS platform publishing standards on UI, security, code integrity and privacy
- Strong eye for creative, effective and simple UX for Ecommerce Marketplaces
- Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, REST APIs
- Must have a portfolio of successfully released mobile apps on the app store
- Must have experience with Git for pushing/pulling code
- Must have experience in a Scrum based Agile development processes
- Excellent communication skills. Candidates must speak, read and write English well.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strategic thinking and Problem-solving aptitude
Responsibilities
- Build native mobile applications for Android and iOS mobile platforms
- Manage the entire app publishing lifecycle and processes and update apps according to the latest technology trends
- Develop APIs for mobile functionality support and better user performance
- Collaborate with the product, backend and QA teams to constantly innovate the design and functionality of apps
- Analyse, design, code and unit test application code
- Create development documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout development
- Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following enterprise engineering standards
- Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with little or no supervision
- Accurately estimate development effort to deliver high quality projects on time and on budget
- Provide recommendations based on in-depth data analysis and clearly outline its impact on key product metrics
- Manage team comprising of analysts, platform operators, Customer Success team, UX team and others.
Pl note : This profile also involves occasional travel to African countries.
