Criteria                    :      B/E/B.Tech (Polymer/Rubber Tech. /Chemical) with 7+ years of experience in Technical Service.

 OTHER KEY SKILLS

  • In-depth experience with customers' manufacturing processes and leading customers' interaction.
  • Good technical knowledge of adhesion technologies, application techniques and systems.
  • Good organization and leadership capability.

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will plan, prioritize and manage technical service; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that customer service agreements are fulfilled. Develop, evaluate, and review technical service procedures and standards; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, achieve timeliness, reliability and customer satisfaction standards. Select, lead, direct, evaluate and develop the teams to ensure the company objectives are achieved, within budget and according to customer requirements. He/ She is responsible for providing technical support to the business and technical service to the customers of India.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

 

The incumbent will provide technical support to customers including commissioning, testing and maintaining products; develop innovative solutions to more complex technical problems that arise during start-up; evaluate and recommend new products/solutions that will meet customer needs; monitor and resolve recurring more complex problems to ensure on-going customer satisfaction. The incumbent will coach and mentor less experienced engineers, check the quality of their work, and help them diagnose and solve problems.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Plan and implement technical service programs within company to support Sales, Marketing, Quality and Product Development initiatives to assure successful growth with new or existing product offerings.
  2. Cooperate with sales team and U.S. experts to develop business and complete the projects in India.
  3. Keep close contact and provide direct technical service to the key customers/ distributors.
  4. Develop, implement and maintain quality targets to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
  5. Measure the quantity and quality for technical resources coordination, technical service projects progress, field/ lab technical service support and customer technical inquiry.
  6. Handle Sales process & documentation efficiently.
