Position: Sales Engineer/ASM (Techno Commercial Role)

Department: Concrete

Location:  Surat 

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager

Criteria: Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering with Minimum 2+ Years of Experience in Sales of Admixture of RMC

Scope of position:

To Work as a member of a concrete team at branch level and in coordination with all related departments within the Company. To do his allocated job with honesty, sincerity & loyalty to the Company. To select & focus on the most attractive markets in the areas of Ready Mix, Site Batched Concrete Projects, Precast & Cement Plants.

Job Responsibility:

  • To achieve the target given by the superiors through key customers and after judicious analysis of the potential to ensure that plans turn into actions through agreed qualitative & quantified actions plan.

  • Networking & Relationship building - supervise & provide strong support to existing & potential customers in all aspects of developing Concrete to enable retention of customers.

  • Ensure Sales /collection of payment, C-forms against sales from targeted markets to generate above market growth and that the net result after costs provides an acceptable level of profit in line with budget.

  • Achieve & improve market/customer penetration as per plan.

  • Assume responsibility for sales & marketing of Company products to target customers/market as delegated by his superiors & in close coordination with the Sales Manager.

  • Ensure application of Concrete know-how within the company and relevant sales and service organization.

  • Ensure the promotional mix is matched to market needs. Help to achieve standardization of product portfolio and optimal Customer value in the most economical way.

  • Take responsibility for the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, as well as relevant business data as instructed by superiors.

  • Ensure & Maintain discipline at the branch level by him & his colleagues. Initiate corrective actions where necessary.

  • Ensure implementation of the Company’s 8 rules at the Branch level in his day-to-day work

  • Perform & supervise any special task as per need of Company & according to instructions from his superior
