Designation:- Mechanical Draughtsman

Location :- Navi Mumbai

Reporting to :- Sr. Design Manager

Criteria :- ITI Draughtsman or Mechanical Draughtsman with minimum 2  years of experience in Water Treatment industry (preferred from EPC or similar company)

Job Responsibility 

  • Responsible for preparing General Arrangement drawing and Proposal Drawing as per technical specification.  

  • Study of Drawing and Technical Specifications given by Client. 

  • Priority wise preparation of detail Drawing along with GA. 

  • Preparation of Piping Layout, Isometric Drawing, Equipment Layout, Instrumentation & JB Location Layout, Hook-up drawing. 

  • Responsible for complete Mechanical Design of all Fabricated Items like –Tank, Vessel etc. 

  • Preparations of P&ID, PFD, HFD. 

  • Prepared Detailed Drawing along with Bill of material for Fabrication with minimum wastage. 

  • Good Knowledge of Tank Calculation – API 650 Std., ASME Sec VIII Div B Std. 

  • Assigned with the responsibilities of creating the Dimensional Drawings, Main Assembly Drawing, Part Drawings and the complete Bill of Materials for all fabricated items. 

  • Responsible for Tasks of analyzing the components to ensure design criteria and specific requirements. 

  • Assigned with the tasks of planning, conducting, and providing guidance to staff in areas of mechanical design development. 

  • Regular co-ordinates with clients for any Queries. 

  • Solving problems in the shop floor by working closely with Production People Involved in Fabrication, machining, assembly and testing areas. 

  • Clearing non-conformity and quality notifications. 

  • Assigned with the task of studying International Standard and finding the Equivalent Indian standards.
