Position: Junior Sales Officer-GT
Location: Vizag
Reporting To: Dy.ZSM
Criteria: Any Graduate with 2+ Years of Sales Experience in FMCG(Non-Food)
Skills and Knowledge:
• Needs to have basic distribution management knowledge and concepts (Sales pipeline/ ROI/ Stock
and Sales management etc.)
• Must have team management skills and/or experience (preferred).
• Must be a team player.
• Experience of FMCG working is preferred.
• Experience of handling sales force automation preferred
• Should be tech savvy and have zeal to grow fast
• Adherence to the safety instructions and HSE policies

Job Purpose:

Would be responsible for growing the consumer business in a specific area by focusing on distribution, sales, team management, and overseeing distributors.

Lead a team of sales representatives and distributors, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.

Sets an example for the sales team by embodying the company's mission statement in their daily work. Ensure that sales targets are met and business goals achieved.

Job Responsibilities:

Achieve the monthly/annual targets of Sales, Distribution, Merchandising, SB, Receivables, and New Product targets. Implement corrective measures
-
Sales targets allotment & execution within team members by breaking down yearly targets into Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly/Daily and within the SS → GD → Retailers under his preview.

Responsible for “SFA” implementation in team working and ensuring 100% compliance.
-
Responsible for channel partner management.

Responsible for Top ARC management
Additional Responsibilities:
-
Effectively use SFA (Sales Force Automation) data to track and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance with the team. Regularly analyze and report actual business performance against set targets, including distributor sales, product sales, coverage, distribution, and productivity.

Prepare monthly rolling sales forecasts based on a structured pipeline exercise format. Conduct weekly meetings with the team to address issues on a day-to-day basis and ensure smooth operations.

Manage pricing and trademargins, leading the implementation of price lists in the designated territory.

Provide on-the-job training and personal development opportunities to maximize the potential of all sales team members, outlining clear development paths for key personnel.

Monitor and report local market dynamics and competitive activities to stay updated on industry trends and developments.
