Position: Manager – Sales/ Business Development – Packaging / Graphic Arts
Location: Delhi, Jaipur, Haridwar, Chennai, Bangalore
Criteria: Management Degree/ Diploma (additional advantage) with minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales
Job Purpose:
- Understand and target industrial adhesive market segments like packaging and lamination.
- Maximize sales through distributor and direct user coordination.
- Ensure product understanding and strategy implementation.
- Aim for market share and adhere to pricing, positioning, and distribution rules.
- Focus on OEM industry sales
Key Result Area:
- Monthly Sales and Business performance updates.
- Market share insights.
- Strategic feedback.
- Communication downwards and upwards
Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and achieving set sales targets.
- Set Annual goals and objectives to follow.
- Traveling across the region to develop new markets.
- Develop a business strategy with positioning.
- Be the owner of the Product features, advantages, and customer benefits.
- Develop Pricing, Positioning, Distribution, and communication strategy. Take it forward to the sales team to enable them to implement it in the marketplace.
- Develop & Execute promotional activities.
- Supervise new product development and launching in specific markets.
- Evaluating and recommending new distributors.
- Monitoring distributors’ credit control mechanisms and supporting them.
- Allocating time to visit all the customers/distributors’ markets regularly.
- Evaluating and recommending new distributors.
- Monitoring distributors’ credit control mechanism and supporting it.
- Review orders from OEMs and distributors ensure supplies and monitor payment flow from him.
- Review the status of technical and non-technical complaints and coordinate with BU/HO.
- Develop and document application knowledge.
- Develop key presentations to be given to the customers.
- Train the sales team continuously on the technical and application aspects.
- Keep tracking the technology changes and work on new products or existing product development for better performance.
- Remain engaged with markets for pricing, new technology trends, etc.
- Ensure adherence to the meeting and reporting compliance.
- Comprehend competitor strategies in the market and design countermeasures.
