Position: Area Sales Manager

Location: Haryana

Criteria: Any Graduate with 4+ years of experience of Sales Pharma, OTC or FMCG 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong track record of success with prior experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

  • Self-starter with a strong track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.

  • Strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organization.

 

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Meeting & exceeding sales targets for the assigned territories month on month.

  • Deliver sales performance and relevant Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to meet or exceed district sales plan within expense budgets.

  • Optimize resource utilization by leading, developing and coaching Sales Team performance

  • including setting sales targets and incentive schemes, managing Sales Force Management

  • Systems and KPIs in order to continuously improve district sales performance. Ensure regular updates on Sales Team skills in terms of medical, technical and special in-field knowledge areas.

  • Ensure district priorities, activities and engagement plans are aligned with brand strategy and national strategic priorities in order to optimize strategic momentum and drive brand success.

  • Proven track record of successful leadership, management and coaching cross functionally or functional individuals and teams.

  • Knowledge of territory and relationships with key stakeholders already established

  • Ability to build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other relevant stakeholders

  • Ensuring target achievement of all team member month on month

  • Stockiest and CnF visit along with Joint field working

  • Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base.

  • Managing the entire sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure.

  • Ensuring vacancy management in assigned territories

  • Building a strong pipeline and ensuring accurate sales forecasting and account planning.

  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products & services.

  • Preparing regular reports and participating in regular meetings to review performance.

  • Analyzing market trends and competitors’ activities and formulating strategies to respond to these.
