Position: Tool Designer
Department: Production
Location: Nashik
Reporting to: Head Production
Criteria: BE/DME/Diploma Tool & Design, professional courses in designing with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Drafting, solid modeling, design detailing in 2D-3D modeling with software's like AutoCAD and NX.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare presentation drawings, critical dimensioning, view presentations, and parts lists, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Develop advanced assemblies and layouts, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision and manufacturability.

Contribute to concept design, ensuring alignment with manufacturing feasibility and practical implementation.

Perform reverse engineering to understand and replicate existing designs or parts.

Interpret and prepare casting drawings, ensuring technical accuracy and manufacturability.

Select appropriate materials, bought-out parts, hardware, and fasteners for various projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Manage and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, effectively handling multiple tasks and coordinating between teams.

Support shop floor activities, including drawing releases, design troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance to ensure smooth production processes.

Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes such as GDC/PDC, bending, punching, welding, surface treatments, and basic machining to optimize designs for production.

Utilize ERP systems for managing data, documentation, and project tracking.
