Position Title: Manager – Procurement
Location: Taloja
Criteria: B.Com./ B.Sc./ BE-Mech/Diploma in Mech. Engg. with PG Diploma or MBA-Materials Management with min 10-20 Years from Chemical Manufacturing Industry having turnover of 300 crore
Technical Skill: -
- Quality Systems - Execute activities as per defined quality systems; Maintain history cards of equipments& maintenance related ISO records in order to demonstrate compliance to organizations quality systems.
- Safety, Housekeeping & Environment -Check adherence to safety and housekeeping norms by workmen on safety practices; issue work permit for Hot, cold related work; Communicate to supervisor in order to ensure compliance to safety of employees & good housekeeping.
- TPM - Implementation of TPM activities in the area suggested by HOD
Job Profile:
- Prepare procurement plan, identify new suppliers, initiate negotiation and prepare vendor evaluation report;
- Place enquiries for import/Exports, receive Quotes and maintain related documents;
- monitor stock to maintain inventory level;
- Co-ordinate with supplier and transporter for logistics.
- Execute activities as per defined quality systems within the guidelines of company with the objective of ensuring availability of materials to the plant.
- Co-ordination with Prodn/Maint./R&D and other department and Valia Plant.
- To Co-ordinate with the external agencies (i.e. Customs, CHA, Banks, Govt. Authorities, Internal/External Auditors etc.
