Position: Process Drafting Supervisor
Employment type: Permanent
Location: Mumbai
Criteria:
Diploma/Degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years post qualification experience as area engineer/ Supervisor in reputed Engineering Companies with exposure to engineering activities in Oil/Petrochemical sectors.
Language: Fluent in English.
Basic Function:
- The person would be involved in the drafting function with responsibility for performing quality checks on engineering documentation in P&ID, Loop Diagrams, Single line Diagram and documentation.
- Would be involve in development of Detailed Engineering for projects/plants, Process Design Packages, Basic Engineering Design Packages, Updates of engineering documentation from operating plants.
- Would be responsible to perform the quality checks, data co-ordination for documentation submitted by Contractors before submissions to the various sites.
Job Description: The individual should be proficient in following tasks:
- Thorough knowledge of AUTOCAD/ Micro-station/PDS/PDMS
- Review of Loop Diagrams, JB Drawings, Single Line Diagram and P&ID’s for quality checks.
- Review of other piping documentation for quality aspects
- Equipment layouts, safety requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant codes
- Thorough knowledge of Electrical /Instrumentation documentation.
- Ability to plan resources and estimate jobs in drafting areas.
- Ability to work with Contractors and show leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of Engineering documents of all disciplines.
- Good Communication skills.
