Criteria: Graduate in Engineering/Science (Polymer/Rubber Tech. / Chemical/Coatings) with 6+ years of experience of Industrial Selling, especially selling product related to technology

Job Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible for Marketing and Promoting sales at North India. Responsible to grow the assigned territory and company revenues by bringing in new business and maintaining business relationships within the existing accounts. Develop long-term relationship with the customers/distributors and develop the key account plans. Develop & lead team to achieve planned numbers from the assigned territory. Identify and develop customers to grow the adhesive, Primer, Coating and Mold release business in line with company’s long term strategy.

Nature and Scope: 

Will be responsible to drive sales team to deliver sales target and expand business into new industry applications and technologies in assigned territory. The incumbent must excel in a team environment orchestrating internal resources to satisfy customer needs effectively and assure profitable sales growth. He/ She will require to gather, synthesize and convey technical information effectively and formulate commercial proposals to solicit new business and grow market position.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and sell products and services within an assigned sales territory, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve sales targets.

  2. Develop long-term relationship with the customers/distributors and develop the key account plans. 

  3. The incumbent is responsible for selling products of the EPM & Structural adhesive product division (including adhesives, primers and coatings) in assigned geographic sales territory. 

  4. Responsibilities include maintaining existing sales and identifying prospective new customers through both distribution/direct channels. 

  5. Organize and conducting training to distributors and existing/new accounts. 

  6. Gather and communicate Market and competitive intelligence. 

  7. Develop strategies to maintain and increase market share. Identify and develop customers to grow the adhesive, Primer, coating and Mold release business in line with company’s long term strategy

  8. Identify new opportunities with existing customers.

  9. Understanding different and new applications of adhesives and educating team on the same for faster commercializing of products in market.

  10. Develop good and long term relationship with Customer personals and distributors for regular sales and generating new business. 

  11. Gathering and forwarding competition strategies and competition accounts to senior management with the feasible strategies for defend plan development.

  12. Assigning new leads to team and organizing trials for new products and coordinating with senior management for pricing, product availability and faster commercializing of new products.

  13. Conducting trials of LokRelease, Structural adhesive and WSG products with team persons at high potential new customers.

  14. Identify and propose existing customers for Price Increase. Implement Price increase at existing without hampering business relation.

  15. Notice issues with existing customers and Monitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, and make emergency calls and deliveries as required. 

  16. Forecast sales so as to achieve inventory targets. Material planning for Japan, USA and Germany grades for different customers in territory.

  17. Achieve planned numbers for new business development in Adhesive, WSG, primer and Mold release. 

  18. Maintain and enhance relationship with Top Management of key accounts 

  19. Develop subordinate so that he/she will be able to handle the region independently  

  20. Execute technical seminars, VAVE, plant audit programs in the region 

  21. Monitoring, Analyzing and Maintaining Sales Data and report them periodically.

  22. Achieve Payment Collection targets (Current to total %) and DSO targets.

  23. Monitor, analyze and review periodically Channel partner performance and review/complete channel partner agreements. 

  24. Deliver presentation to key accounts, platforms like NRC- AIRIA events 

  25. Implement the value selling concept in assigned territory. 

  26. Co-ordinate with Technology to provide technical Support, recommendations, trouble shooting and trials for new products/applications at customer end.

  27. Handle Sales process & Documentation efficiently. 

  28. Identifying and developing new customer & new applications to generate new business 

  29. Effectively use and update CRM for tracking leads and submitting trips report.
