Position: Sales Executive

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Sales Manager / Director

Criteria: Any Graduate with a background in Business Administration or Marketing will be preferred with 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the metal raw material industry, metal manufacturing, or related sectors.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to understand client requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.

Languages: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi/Gujarati (optional).

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software will be an advantage.

Job Purpose: The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining client relationships, and expanding the company's customer base. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent negotiation skills and industry knowledge to ensure the company's business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base by approaching potential clients in various industries.

  • Meet sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth through regular follow-ups and pitching of products.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.

  • Understand client requirements and provide the best-suited metal raw material solutions to meet their needs.

Lead Generation & Conversion:

  • Generate leads through market research, cold calls, networking, and industry events.

  • Convert leads into sales by effectively demonstrating product value and negotiating favorable terms.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for the Sales Manager/Directors.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's product offerings and industry trends.

  • Educate clients about new products, services, and innovations in the metals industry.

Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the metals sector.

  • Keep abreast of competitors' offerings and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Sales Documentation & Follow-up:

  • Ensure all sales-related documentation, including proposals, quotations, and contracts, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Follow up on pending sales leads and ensure customer inquiries are addressed promptly.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the logistics and back-office teams to ensure smooth execution of orders, dispatches, and timely deliveries.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any order-related issues.
