Position: Manager- Business Development/ Sales 

Location: Mumbai

Department: Home & Personal Care
Reporting to: Chief Business Officer - Personal care/ Flavour and Fragrance

Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, MBA or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development.

Job Purpose:

Will be responsible to achieve or surpass annual revenue and gross margin targets by implementing effective sales strategies. This includes generating and converting business opportunities, building multi-level relationships with key clients, expanding product lines, and generating revenue from existing customers. Additionally, will focus on new customer acquisition and global market development, lead key account management initiatives with quantifiable growth drivers, and ensure timely management of receivables to maintain healthy cash flow and financial stability. 

Technical Skills: 

? Strong financial acumen and ability to manage receivables effectively. 

? Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. 

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose: 

Revenue and Gross Margin Achievement: 

1. Meet or exceed the revenue plan and gross margin targets as per aligned goals for the year.

2. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth. 

Lead Generation and Business Opportunities: 

1. Generate leads and convert them into business opportunities in the specified region. 

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and drive sales growth. 

Relationship Building: 

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key complex clients at all levels of their organisations. 

2. Develop multi-level relationships across customer organisations to optimise business opportunities. 

Product Line Development: 

1. Build new product lines and establish revenue streams from existing customers. 

2. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful product launches and market penetration. 

Customer Acquisition and Geography Expansion: 

1. Drive new customer acquisition efforts and explore new geographic markets across the globe.

2. Develop and implement strategies for market entry and growth in new regions. 

Key Account Management (KAM): 

1. Lead key account management initiatives with quantifiable growth drivers. 

2. Develop and execute account plans to maximise customer satisfaction and revenue growth. 

Receivables Management: 

1. Manage receivables from customers well within the credit cycle. 

2. Monitor and ensure timely collection of payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
